Western Horizons
Working Dog Club is a multidisciplinary group of dog
enthusiasts located in the high desert of Southern California.
We are a full member club of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America.
Although our primary focus is Schutzhund, we welcome anyone involved
in one of the many dog sports such as agility, rally obedience, flyball, ring sport, tracking or herding to join us. We promote
motivational, humane training methods in a supportive, drama-free atmosphere.
We meet weekly to practice tracking, obedience and protection. WHWDC
strives to make the training progression enjoyable for ourselves and
our dogs in order to achieve the goals and reach the maximum
potential as competitors and responsible dog owners. Whether you are
a seasoned competitor or just starting out, we look forward to your
visit.
