Spring Trial Sponsors

Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring a trophy or medallion for our Spring 2026 trial. ​
     March 15, 2026 RH Seminar with USCA/SV JudgeCraig Groh

The seminar will include a general introduction to the sport and how to get started with the training. Classroom review of the IRO/FCI RH program and questions. Field work to include; introduction to the first level equipment and some basic searching and indications.

Craig is an experienced breeder of German Shepherd Dogs, as well as a long-time USCA judge and competitor at both club and national levels in IGP and RH disciplines.

No specific equipment (collars, leashes, etc.) is required for the dog. Bring what ever equipment and rewards you are routinelly working with. Bring a chair and shade for your vehicle.

WHWDC will provide hot and cold drinks and snacks. Bring your own lunch.

Entries will be limited to 10 working spots and unlimited spectator spots. Working spot $80.00, spectator $40.00

Spring IGP/USP Trial March 14, 2026

13322 Johnson Road, Phelan, CA 92371. Entrance on Luna.
  • Titles Offered: BH-Vt, IGP 1-3, USP 1-3, FPR 1-3, UPR 1-3, GPR 1-3, STP 1-3. Entries with tracking may be limited due to tracking field availability. 
  • Tracking - plowed dirt.
  • Tentative Schedule subject to change depending on entries: Tracking - Meet at the designated tracking location 7:00 AM. Tracking will be about an hour drive back to the club field.  
  • Field Schedule - Approximately 11 AM after the completion of tracking BH Obedience & traffic, IGP obedience then protection. 
  • Lunch - We will offer coffee, cold drinks and snacks at no charge. Donations appreciated. Lunch may be offered.
  • Spectators please park on Luna. 
  • All dogs must be on leash on the trial grounds and surrounding property unless on the trial field.​
  • Closest lodging is Victorville or Hesperia. La Quinta and Holiday Inn Express have been dog friendly in the past. Call for current policies.
  • Competitors must include the completed entry form as well as a copy of their membership card and dog's rabies certificate. Entries must be complete with payment to be considered a valid entry. Entries will not be accepted via e-mail.

    Our trial location offers some of the best tracking conditions in the region. With groomed dirt, ample parking, and a fully fenced trial field, participants and spectators alike can expect a well-organized and enjoyable experience. Moreover, private property ensures an environment with fewer distractions.

    Please note that due to our private property stipulations, we kindly ask that you do not bring un-entered dogs on the tracking or trial site without permission. This ensures a focused environment where all attention can be devoted to the participating dogs.


    Competitor practice will be available on the trial field prior to the trial date.
